I think this movie deserves a thread.  I can't remember the last movie I saw on opening night.  It's the perfect movie for geeks like us and the women that love us.  She hates 3D so we saw the normal version.  Didn't matter.  I have no clue how they did the camera work, and honestly don't care.  Best movie I have seen in years.

I need to check this out. 

The trailers didn't really impress me much, but the reviews for this are ridiculously high.

It was much, much better than I thought it would be.  Wife wanted to see it so I was like OK.  I have never been in a packed theater that was so quiet, and not in a bad way.

I immediately wrote this movie off because I'm not exactly a Clooney or Bullock fan, but I keep hearing great things.

She starts out as normal Bullock but eventually finds another gear.  Her and Clooney are both very good.

Liked it a lot. Visuals were great. Unique film too which was a nice change of pace.

I read that Bullock was far, far, far down the list to be the female lead. From what I hear she did a good job.

I'm with Heismanberg, from the trailers I see nothing that impresses me.

I've heard the trailer gives very little away. I wouldn't judge it based on that.

I remember the same thing with Dredd. People were talking a bout how great it was, but no real details. Turned out they were right.

If anything it makes me want to watch it more.
