Gut feeling is Mac will eventually get Wilkerson for a reasonable ish price

My gut feeling is that they will trade Mo. Deal getting done if it makes sense to both sides means deal will get done if Mo drops his price to what we are offering. Idiot-zik could have gotten this deal done before JJ Watt's deal at a much lower cost. He's the reason why we're in this position right now.

No one has any idea how the negotiations are. Watt and Suh reset the market a bit, which will hurt us in negotiations, but who is to say that Wilkerson was going to take a below market value deal before anyway?

With Muhammad Wilkerson reportedly unhappy with his contract situation with the Jets. Would the Patriots be prudent to inquire about a trade? Wilkerson is an impact player at the defensive line position. And the Jets might be persuaded to give up a disgruntled employee for a draft pick or two.

Plus it would further fuel the rivalry, Wilkerson vs Revis. Which is the better defensive choice investing resources to load up on DL or loading up at CB?
