Its really a shame how incredibly they fucked up the entire X-Men franchise when it comes to the movies.

They had the potential to be far far bigger than The Avengers ever could have dreamed of being

Instead its just been one incredibly shitty movie after another

This looks like more garbage

With a name like "Days of future past" i figured this would have to do with the whole Apocalypse story line or something

I hope were fortunate enough that they just scrap everything about the current "X-men" and just reboot the entire franchise

First Class wasn't bad.

It wasnt great though

At best it was mediocre

The franchise had more potential than every other comic book movie out there, and has just been recycled trash.

As far as im concerned the X-men movies are on par with video game movies like resident evil moreso than the other comic book movies

Lol First Class and the Singer directed movies are not even close to junk like Resident Evil, freak off with that stupidity.

Apocalypse should get Its own trilogy, and have nothing to do with the current drivel

So many plot holes in these movies.. ugh

and adding quicksilver just to spite the avengers 2? lol

first class was good so we'll see where they take it from there but the main focus seems to yet again be on wolverine being the main hero

http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/12/06/fox-aiming-for-marvel-style-cinematic-universes

Now thats what they should of done long ago.

Apparently Fox is trying to turn X-men and other marvel material into a huge crossover universe similar to what there is with The Avengers/Ironman and all that.

About time, now just to hope they dont freak it up royally like they did all the other X-men crap

First Class was a perfect reboot.  The first two Singer movies were very good, too.

Now Singer's back, linking First Class to his two movies with one of the better X-Men story arcs, and then to an Apocalypse movie.

What more do you want?

dcm likes to bitch about the X-Men movies.  He also likes to be wrong.  It's a solid combination.

Agree with everything you said, especially the decision to ignore the 3rd X-Men and Origins as the trash they are.

I don't think he's ignoring the third movie entirely, they reference it in the after credits scene of The Wolverine.

But you kinda have to ignore the first origins movie or else it pretty much makes the second one impossible.

At least I hope they replace all the actors/actresses from the original xmen movies.

Hugh Jackman is just going to eat up too much money, Halle Berry sucked. The only person I wouldnt mind see brought back was the chick that played rogue

Eat up too much money? What is there a salary cap for movies now? There's a very little chance any of the big name characters get replaced, especially someone like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.
