Eat up too much money? What is there a salary cap for movies now?

Because they signed Hugh Jackman to such a huge extension, the rest of the roles will have to be filled by veteran journeymen and UDFA's.    Professor X and Magneto will now be played by David Spade and Rob Schneider.

Not even sure I'm comfortable with those 2 as stop gaps for those roles.

I think we found Mike Tannenbaum's new employer.

Good.  Weak actress, weak character.

This movie was pretty awesome. Storyline was a beauty.

Can't wait to see what the next one is all about.  You get a glimpse of it at the end of the credits.

***SPOILERS***

My first guess is that it's Apocalypse and the 4 horsemen.

One of my friends saw it last night. She basically said, it's solid as a stand alone movie but if you try to apply any logoc, the plot holes are a mess.

It's a convoluted mix between tying in the first two movies in with all the drivel in between where they pick and choose their spots to tie in the actual comic timeline.

So if you follow x men it's a diluted money grab, but at the surface a solid enough film.

Another friend of mine told me it's good, I gold him I don't trust his opinion since he saw the 300 sequel in theatres

There a couple inconsistencies from the comic storyline...but not enough to whine about. I've been reading X-Men since 1989...and I thought the movie was well done.

Just relaying two opinions I got last night.

It looks solid to me but I'm in no rush to see it. I'm as nerds as the next comic fan but Hollywood has burnt me out. They flooded the market

Fair enough.

People are obviously entitled to their opinions...I just didn't get that from the movie. Again, I'm well aware of the inconsistencies that DO show up.

Ive been wanting to see a good xmen movie for a while, and the idea of an Apocalypse story line always seemed the best way for them to make one.

Once I heard that this movie somehow became ANOTHER wolverine spinoff and recycled the excrement from the other movies I lost all interest in seeing it.
