The very ignorance you rail against, you're exhibiting here. Regardless of you acknowledged or not doesn't really change the fact you are so wrong about that statement. But sadly, you're not alone on this. You're the victim of the same level of ignorance on the manner that too many have.
I'm not quite sure how you took "I don't know enough about the history of Cuba or Castro to have an opinion on the guy" as anything other than a tacit statement of my acknowledged ignorance, so I assume that you were just choosing to take it as an opportunity to tell me how ignorant I am. Which is fine, if somewhat redundant, but you do you.
What I was I think very clearly talking about was Justin Trudeau, about whom I do know a little bit. It's entirely fine to disagree with him, to think that his statement was incorrect, ill advised or inappropriate. You might very well be right, I don't know. I was talking about why he expressed the view he did, because Tommy appeared to be unaware, not commenting on the views themselves.
