I started World War Z yesterday (finally - I got it for xmas) and I'm almost done with it. Pretty good, lots of really interesting ideas.

Doctor Sleep and Joyland were both great.

NOS4A2 is still the best book I've read this year though.

Top 5 King book for me.  Can't wait for the mini-series JJ Abrams is involved with.

I'll go there to check out reviews for a book, but I'm not a member.

Basically I use it to organise what books I've read and what I'm going to read, and also to find new books and read reviews. If you have friends on it or join a couple of good groups, it's definitely helpful trying to find new material. There's some good lists made by people from Reddit etc as well.

Finally finished The Passage. Best Stephen King book not written by Stephen King that I've ever read, and I mean that as a huge compliment. Really, really good story; I'm excited to see that Ridley Scott owns the rights, although it's being directed by Matt Reeves who did Cloverfield and Let Me In which leaves me a little unsure. I'd rather the big man himself were doing it.

Let Me In is one of the better remakes in a long time.  Matt Reeves will do a good job with this.

Scott's been horrible lately anyway.

You need to read Joe Hill's stuff (Stephen King's son).

I think I was one of the few people who really liked Prometheus. I haven't seen The Counselor but I have been told that it's awful, although by all accounts that's as much to do with McCarthy's script as Scott's direction.
