Seems promising on the field.  Talented, tall press corner.  Penalties were a problem.  Not a great background off the field, but maybe that's in the past.   Of course this is just from a little googlin'.  SF fans don't seem too thrilled with his performance.

Wonder what we gave up.  Hopefully a 2027 conditional 35th rounder.

Not looking promising for Burris.  He must really be in the doghouse.  2 corners drafted in 2017, now this dude.  None of them slot corners.

Looks like Duff got the short end of the stick here.  Apparently he's a penalty machine.  Then again, it doesn't seem like his problem is his ability to make plays, it's penalties.  No idea how easy that is to clean up.  He's only 22, so there's that.  Seeing that Bowles didn't know about it during the presser, I doubt he had any say in it.

Well...Justin Burris and Buster Skrine both suck.  If this guy can stay out of trouble, a 5th rounder might've been worth it.

I'm a hopeless sunshiner, but I'll say we've done worse with a 5th round pick.

Sounds good. He probably figures this guy is better than anyone he's getting in the 5th round, so be it. What's the worst thing that can happen? The guy sucks? And?

Claiborne didn't practice today. This may have been a move Maccagnan made to ensure that the Jets had someone to play the position. Skrine's still in the concussion protocol. That leaves Burris and Roberts, and now Robinson.

Yeah, I don't have a problem with "wasting" a 5th rounder by taking a flyer on a guy.

As long as he is better than Skrine (and pretty much anybody passes that test) it's probably worth the 5

Apparently Rashard Robinson had a blowup on the sidelines last week, throwing his helmet and yelling at an assistant.

I guess we're just loading up on LSU defensive backs. He's 22 years old, so he's 2 years younger than Marcus Maye.

I'll take it . Especially with Skrine and Burris likely gone after this year.  Considering the current injury situation,  we need them now .
