Positives...
- Good size, good arm, has all the intangibles you could ask for, both physically and mentally
- Really wanted to learn an NFL system, which is why he went to Penn State
- Had a halfway decent true freshman season
- Showed leadership by trying to meet with James Franklin before last season to figure out how to make it work in college, but Franklin refused

Negatives...
- He kinda sucks

Never liked Hackenberg.  He was an idiot when he sticked with his commit to Penn State after the penalties were placed for the Sandusky Coverup and his development suffered for it.  Ironic that the two biggest recruits from that recruiting class turned out to be college busts.  Brenneman blew out his knee and walked away from the game entirely.

My brother-in-law, a Giants and PSU fan, just texted me laughing at this pick.

He is not accurate, that's for sure.  I think a lot of that has to do with his protection and his lack of faith in the coaching staff, the scheme, and the surrounding talent. 

It's something that definitely needs a lot of work.
