We still have that bargaining chip with Snacks (where it might actually matter). Wilk is pretty much recognized as the 2nd best 3-4 DE in the league behind Watt. Hell he is even starting to become a feared pass rusher, if anybody could win a one on one opposite him, our defense would scare the excrement out of people. Although, Mauldin has made real strides there already as a rookie, with luck he becomes more of a pass rusher than any of us thought he could be.
