Pryor and Marcus Williams both fell off in the voting because of injuries
I don't think you can objectively look at MW and say he's Pro-Bowl worthy, because of injuries and some inconsistent play in the middle of the season. You can't expect a UDFA to make the PB under those conditions. However, Pryor deserves it in every way shape or form. It was just a numbers/circumstances game. The thing with the PB is once you get past the inertia of getting enough votes to get in, getting in in the future is just simple reputation thing. Many of the players just get there based on reputation and not actual play but you know that. Pryor went from:
1st year > questionable coaching and play < playing better even if he was out of position > Missing team meeting/ being unprofessional < this season < better coaching < playing in the proper position < becoming one of the more instrumental players on the defense.
That's some trajectory and if it keeps up, there will be lots of PB's in his future. I am not too upset this year because of the inertia of getting voted in. I will be if he improves and doesn't get there.
