The winner was this guy with multiple comments talking about how diverse his neighborhood is (it’s not) and how none of his “minority friends” think racism is an issue in our town. And then a bunch of comments under his from minorities saying racism is a problem in our town.

Also: “No one that is a racist would ever attend this seminar, so it doesn’t serve a point”

It does. Although I’ve seen enough to think that Boomer Facebook needs to be educated on what racism is before they’ll understand anti-racism concepts.

i think part of the problem with regards to that generation is that if something hasn't happened to them personally in their own lives, they tend to discount the possibility of those sorts of things happening to other groups of people.

Gas technician came to service the fireplaces in the house I'm moving into on Thursday. He capped and red tagged both of them for being unsafe, so that's going to cost me a few grand on day 1.
