It just never ends being a fan of this team. They have the depth to cover for his absence, but I really thought Wheeler would have a great season this year. He was primed. Now...freak.

He will come back bigger stronger faster, just in a year.

Every year my pessimism gets stronger and stronger. Looking forward to Cuddyer being absolutely terrible or just injured for his entire contract.

Lagares, Wright, Granderson and Cuddeyer are all raking this spring with Duda coming along, which means that they will all either slump or get hurt when the season actually starts, as is tradition.

If the Mets can scratch out a .500 record against the Nats this year they might beat up on the Braves and Phillies enough to battle for the wild card. I'm feeling as good as I have in a long time for this Mets team.

Of course, Mejia goes down with an elbow issue before he even throws a pitch.

Harvey looked good vs Nats. Considering we couldn't beat this team last year at all, taking 2 of 3 to start off the season is a nice start...while I wait for the next shoe to drop
