I trust Familia to hold down the fort until Parnell makes it back. Black and Parnell both started rehab assignments so hopefully it won't be for too long. Thank god for the Blevins trade.

Harvey with 18 Ks and 1 walk through his first two starts, but Wright with a pulled hamstring.

I've been making it a point to try and be an engaged baseball/Mets fan this year (for the first time since like the Robin Ventura era). I've been really happy watching them play so far. Fun team to watch.

Not for nothing. This is why Collins really makes me scratch my head sometimes: no matter how this game ends, you have a lefty warmed up in the bullpen, you have a lefty hitting who had 4 hits already, the guy in is a righty (and struggling) and you don't bring the lefty in? Wow

And the lefty comes in and strikes out the next guy on three pitches. Crisis diverted.

Thank god for the Blevins trade.

Broke his arm.

Also d'Arnaud.

Sucks not to be able to really enjoy this winning streak.

Might be the end for David Wright. Degenerative spine condition. Severity unknown at this point.

It's the same thing Jarvis Jones had and he got drafted in the NFL in the first round.

Of course David Wright already has several (hundred?) million dollars. So retiring would be a pretty smart move on his end

MBG...thanks again for Syndergaard. Not only can the dude pitch, he just crushed one about 420 feet to left-center.

Haha...Syndergaard is 3-for-3.

At Citi Field with club seats. Stadium empty. Watched Colon bat. It was hilarious.
"Wrong!"
