He isn't a top target player

He is the best secondary player in free agency.  He's a top target, especially for teams that struggle in pass defense.

Where is Maxwell's name here?

Ndamukong Suh
Jason Pierre-Paul
Justin Houston
Randall Cobb
DeMarco Murray
Julius Thomas
Jeremy Maclin
Michael Crabtree

I listed eight guys that are top free agents.  Maxwell is certainly among the top ten overall and easily the best defensive back that will be available.  Top 5 defensive free agent.

Would you rather us draft another corner?

What part of highest probability don't you understand?

You yourself had several higher targets when asked what your highest target would be, and you didn't even list him.  Of course, the question was for the top 3, and you gave a laundry list, which he still didn't make.

Edit:  If the front office decides to draft a corner AGAIN then I will support it.  Although, I won't like it, it doesn't matter.  Rex will have ordered it probably.

That is a general thread, is it not?  I wasn't listing targets for the Jets.  Suh would definitely not be my top target for this team.  That makes no sense.

I shouldn't have to repeat myself over and over again to you.  Byron Maxwell is the best available DB.  He will be a top free agent.

Sorry he didn't make a list of eight players that I made.  Only three defensive players on that short list and no defensive backs.  Do some more meaningless digging.

And stop saying high probability.

Then don't repeat yourself.  I said he shouldn't be our top target, and you are saying he will be.  You had a list of players that you thought were top targets in the NFL, and now none are better for the Jets than Maxwell.

I have no interest in if you agree or don't agree.  He is not a top target player in FA, IMO, especially over other players.  I further said that if Quinn is hired he is a high probability.

There is a high probability that Maxwell isn't the top DB in FA.

There is a high probability that you will need to get the last word in, and there is a high probability that I am done with this.

Btw...

Maxwell is a high probability signing if Quinn is hired.

I heard some bundle of sticks named Revis was going to be the top DB in FA

It would be hilarious if Quinn and McCagnan brought revis back

Woody getting kicked in the groin with a tampering charge would further the hilarity.

All Woody has to say is "my new staff deemed Revis a player we had to have" and it's over and done with.

But come to think of it, I'm sure Quinn would want Revis here since he can't bring Sherman with him

He might prefer spending $$$ on offense, and home grown talent on defense

Technically revis is home grown talent on defense

Back on topic.   LB options?  I suspect one will be a draft pick.  Penguin might move to DE depth in a 4-3.

Perhaps Duff will bring Brooks Reed with him
