I have seen a lot of crap movies. Sometimes I know they're going to be crap but watch them in the hope that they're going to be enjoyable, and sometimes I hope they're going to be enjoyable but just turn out to be crap.
Of all the crap movies I have seen over the years, I am willing to state that Expend4bles is top 5 all time crap, and not really any fun at all. Even the inevitable big showdown fight between Statham and Iko Uwais (lead actor in The Raid), two outstanding screen combatants, manages to be formulaic and uninteresting.
Literally everything about this movie is dreadful, but special mention has to go to set design and cinematography which somehow manages to be too realistic to jar with the cartoony violence, and yet too cartoony to be remotely plausible.
I almost want to recommend you see this to understand the depths it manages to plumb, but you all have better things to do with 100 precious minutes of your lives.
