I saw Warcraft in the theater. I'd see a sequel if they got around to making one. I've never played Warcraft. If you went in looking for a "good" movie, maybe you should have watched the trailer first. It was a special-effects-laden action movie based on a video game. Expectations should be tempered.
Cut/pasted from your last Resident Evil review.  You thrive on watching shitty movies and defending them.

It's not "defending" them though. At least not in the sense you mean it.

I don't go into a movie based on a comic book and wonder why it didn't resemble Hamlet.

If you watch a movie based on a video game, and you don't go in expecting a lot of special effects and a story that could be written by a first grader, the fault is yours, not the movie's.

Not everything is Oscar-worthy. Some excrement is there just to freak your eyeballs for a couple of hours.

I'm with Alio on this.  Warcraft was a bad movie that was very entertaining.  I had less than zero expectations and was not disappointed.

I've already seen The Disaster Artist and The Shape of Water has really shitty showtimes today, so I'm going to see Den of Thieves in an hour.

Gerard Butler, 50 Cent, and the Leprechaun from American Gods shoot 'em up...

I expect it to be complete excrement, but I have free tickets for a weekday showing.  I will report back and it will most likely be in this thread.

I've seen the trailers and it looks like it's going to be one of those mindless excrement movies that I love.

Ha! Exactly. There are good movies, and there are bad movies, and there are treadmill movies.

Den of Thieves was excrement.  As expected, the story was non-existent.  The heist was somewhat interesting, but it dragged.

Pablo Schreiber will be a star though.  He was really the only good thing about this.  The action wasn't even that great.  50 Cent wasn't terrible.  Ice Cube's son is annoying.  Gerard Butler sucked as usual.

Not even treadmill approved? Lack of story is fine. Lack of action is not.

He was fantastic in Thirteen Hours.

It was two and a half hours long and only had about 30 minutes of action.  Nothing too exciting either.

Watched London Has Fallen on the treadmill. The very definition of a treadmill movie - it's a terrible film with a rotten heart, but the mindless action is relentless fun.
