one of the biggest reasons why i enjoyed interstellar so much was due to the consultation of somebody like kip thorne in writing the movie and his defenses of the legitimacy of the physics seen within that movie

I really like Nolan, but despite recalling that I liked Interstellar when I saw it I can remember absolutely nothing about it and am completely uninterested in seeing it again, unlike pretty much every other one of his movies.

Similar issues with The Prestige, which is his worst movie.

A cross-dressing limey poofter

That’s why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call “The Prestige”, where we reveal that magic is in fact real and this whole movie is dumb.

Hoo boy, do I have problems with this movie.

I have far fewer problems after a second viewing.  This movie's quite good.

Dear Zachary is one of my favorite films that I will never watch ever again.
I remember this case when she jumped. I freaking hate this woman.

I'll never watch this, too much for me.

Sent from fire adam gase.

It’s much more about Andrew (Zachary’s father) and Zachary than it is about her.

As a tribute piece it’s one of the most beautiful works I’ve seen and if it didn’t end the way it does I’d probably be able to watch it again.

Mank was good. Maybe a little self-indulgent. Helps if you know the history of the 1934 CA gubernatorial election.

I was wondering if this was going to be good. Given that it’s Pixar I assumed it would be

It's good but we decided to watch without the kids and it was the right move. They'll appreciate it better when they're a little older.

The Wolf of Snow Hollow.  I've had Thunder Road on my to-watch list for years but I'll light a fire under it now.
