Wonder if it's viable for them to unload the coffers and just pay the luxury tax this year with Melo and LeBron. Then once amare is off the books next year, be back under the cap?

The money the Knicks would make having LeBron and Melo (vs being completely trash)  would likely make up for it

All I know about basketballs salary cap is its by far the worst in sports

I assumed that if you went over you just paid a progressive tax
