WojYahooNBA: Derek Fisher is finalizing an agreement on a 5-year, $25 million deal to become the Knicks coach, league sources tell Yahoo.

Same deal they offered Steve Kerr.

The Zen Master wanted someone that knows the triangle.

Keeping this promise:  if Iman Shumpert is moved, I'm backing the Buzz.

Would really rather have had a guy who's coached before but better than Kerr, I guess.

Go Knicks?
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

What?

It's basically the same situation.  Kerr has just been out of the league longer.

Perhaps I'm missing something obvious, but to what is this referring?

If the Knicks trade Shump, it will be the last straw for me and I'll become a Hornets fan.  Just had enough of James Dolan.

I'm much more of a casual fan when it comes to the NBA and I will be able to attend Charlotte's games nearly every weekend.  Easier said that done, but being able see them in person will be nice.

Gotcha. I'd be quite pissed as well if we ended up trading Shump (particularly when his value is so low).

That's why I'd be done with it.  If they trade him, it will be for something like a late first round pick or a maybe even a second rounder...possibly an expiring contract.

I do really want to see how much control Jackson gets.  If Dolan gets back to his old tricks, then what's the point?

Still out because Jackson has clearly lost his damn mind if that's the case
