A few of us have discussed Nathan For You in the TV Shows thread, but it really needs its own thread.
Everyone needs to watch this Comedy Central series. It is some of the funniest television I've ever seen.

The brothers talking about tag teaming is one of the best moments of the series.

I gotta catch up but the tv store one had me crying
-
I'm halfway through season 1. Definitely like it, kind of heavy handed on the uncomfortable/cringe humor. The first or second episode with H Jon Benjamin coaching him through the interview had me in tears

"My mom died in the Iraq war.... Yeah, she fought for the Iraqi side"

You can call me by my nickname: The N Word

Lol.
My son died in space because I broke the rules and smuggled him on .
I wish I would've been a soccer player instead
-
It reminded me of Sam Shephard

Hey man, do you want to do something random?
You know what would be cool? Let's go get a blood test

"We love you."
"...yes"

Is this a show you're supposed to watch really baked?

Is this a show you're supposed to watch really baked?
You can watch it however you want. It's the funniest show on television.

You just have to be into dry deadpan non sequitur absurdity.
Some ppl need drugs to get to that state I guess lol
-
By the way Nathan Fielder and Michael Shannon had the funniest cameos in a while in that Rogen flick , The Night Before

Oh yeah.

Agreed. Always Sunny and Workaholics are my favorites, but this is funnier right now.
-
how do the seasons compare? It's hard to binge watch this show. I like it so far but in doses. I think i've watched 5-6 episodes from season 1.
Does the show get better or different at all?
-
I think it's consistent.
-

I've tried to watch this once or twice and can't get into it. I think the characters/actors just annoy me too much.

Broad City is better
-
I stopped halfway in season 2. I liked it but the awkward/cringe humor genre is not my cup of tea. Overall I think it is very funny but it makes you feel uncomfortable as you watch

Lol its the same thing just replace dick n butt jokes with snatch and well .....more dick jokes I guess.
-
Any new episodes since the best friend blood test stuff

It's why some of the Gervais/Merchant stuff can be great but also be too much. IMHO those guys do a better job of balancing it out most of the time to where it's not overwhelming and constant.
Sometimes with this show it doesn't stop.

The cringe factor on Hello Ladies was off the charts and far beyond NFY.

Hello Ladies is extreme, which is why i said most of the time. That show actually got better as they made Merchant's character more redeemable towards the end.
The Office and Extras were pretty good about inserting it in the right spots.
The one with Willow was absurdly heavy on cringe, but that was mostly Willow himself. I'm too baked to remember his name or care to look it up

Life's Too Short... I'm also blanking on his name

The episode with Liam Neeson is the best.
"Ahh you noticed that huh, yeah I'm always making lists. It's probably why Stephen Spielberg cast me as Oscar Schindler "
"I slept with an African prostitute who is from a country where famine and war have left her with no recourse other than to sell herself "
Paraphrasing but that scene never gets old

Last night's episode was amazing.

That show was amazing.
His accountant was the best. "You're probably worth more dead, than alive." He goes through various suicide methods and then looks at him and says, "well, you can probably just climb in the oven or something."
freaking brilliant, underrated show.
