When I used to take adderall in the last year or two I was in the mortgage business, it effected my personality and made me more robotic. I was more organized in terms of structuring my day, calling people back and getting the docs I needed to close but it definitely effected my ability to sell.

I definitely get the "robotic" thing. Made social life weird.

Also, time dosent exist on vyvanse. I was at work the other day after lunch, and I had to be escorted to the back office because I was an hour and a half after my end time. I just started working and never stopped.

I know it's an awful comparison,  but I do that with my contacts. Take a day off when I'm not going out to let me eyes rest and relax, makes wearing them after feel alot more comfortable.

I'll have to try that after a while, I want to get used to this stuff and hopefully get by this insomnia.

I forgot to mention I take it with Intuniv.

Intuniv is a newer adhd drug, non stimulant but not like straterra or crap like that. Its essentially a beta blocker(not exactly but similar) so it does actually lower your blood pressure, but the main benefit of it is it slows down your thoughts and for me,my one huge issue with adhd, is compulsive behavior. It helps a LOT with that.

It's pretty much prescribed always along with a stimulant, they seem to really balance each other out. If I take vyvanse without being on Intuniv, I still feel scatter brained to an extent and am prone to compulsive behavior.

Concerta is extended release Ritalin. You might be thinking of straterra

They were explained to me as two different things, I never bothered to check since I was never going to take either one anyway.

I didn't hear of Strattera until years later.

Has anyone every heard of rum?  When life sucks I drink some.  As long as I get some coffee in me my productivity is through the roof the next day.

I don't agree. It's basically saying "You should feel bad that you weren't born into poverty." It's stupid. Each person's perception of the problems in their life is based on their own experiences.

Now if a clown said "My iPad's connection is so bad I'd rather be in Liberia than this Starbucks" then I'd probably agree a bit more.

Rum is not a good solution when you drive 2 hours a day, school for 7, work for 8 and sleep for 6. I do get an hour to relax, though.
