I usually have a 3 hour block of empty time between Wednesday classes. I decided to sleep in and play minecraft instead of going to the morning class.

You seem like a normal adult. What the hell is the deal with Minecraft? Why are grown men playing a game that's basically online legos?

It's Lego.

Probably because they enjoy it.

Sometimes I have no clue where you're coming from, and sometimes it's like you're typing my thoughts word for word.

I like building things, you like buying cheap Chinese hookers.  To each their own,  I suppose.

Bell Canada. Paid the overdue bill last week, today I get a message that our service is suspended for unpaid bills. Turns out that wife had paid the money against her cellphone account rather than the TV/internet account. I point out that given we are on their One Bill service it shouldn't matter, but no. They have no way of transferring this large amount of credit now sitting on her cellphone account to our TV/internet account, so I had to pay it again in order to get the service back on.

Their contact centre staff are monumentally stupid and unhelpful. I am less than impressed at having to waste an hour of my time on that.

I used to work there and bailed because I couldn't deal with their garbage systems.

It's true you can't transfer between one bill and anything else, because of the terrible system. I can complain about their nonsense all day. I hate bell and will never have anything to do with then ever again.

Their Twitter people are very helpful though. They're sending me a refund cheque. It will apparently take 2-4 weeks.

It doesn't cause me any issues but I can imagine there are plenty of people for whom being out of pocket by the thick end of $500 for almost a month as a result of their appalling systems would be a huge problem.

Twitter is handled by and monitored by HQ in Montreal, so they actually can offer better service in these cases than over seas call centers. And they are now all over seas because they just in august closed the last 2 Canadian centers.

Apparently speaking perfect English isn't a prerequisite for over-the-phone customer service anymore.

Speaking perfect English isn't even a prerequisite for posting on the internet.

When QB stats have INTs listed before TDs.
