tie rods on both fronts and the webber joints or whatever, as well as shock replacements(apperently 1 of them flew off during the skidding because it was just gone, and the other was cracked) light body work and repairs to the undercarriage and whatever,2 new tires on the front(the one that flew off hit a tree and punctured, the other side was "mistakenly damaged" by the tow driver during drop off, so they gave me 1 free) alignment and balancing... all told, $1758.73.

They threw in 2 new floor mats though, so i've got that going for me..

Happened to my brother a few times, apparently neighborhood kids think it is funny to loosen some of the bolts and leave a few on. Once you start driving and stress the wheel, there it goes....

Since so many of my annoyances are commute-related:

The tendency for comedians to have a disproportionately high amount of material about air travel in their acts. I get that observational humor is based on your life experiences but your life experiences involve a whole lot more flying than most of us.
