It's funny that you've chosen to read it that way. "He doesn't get this thing I really like so he's now my mortal enemy!" Go back a couple of pages and read the discussion from the beginning. Badger has a coworker who thinks it's weird, and I agreed with her. I've said a number of times I don't care about it, I just think everything about it is a bit fucked up.

Halloween's like having a foot fetish; I don't get it and I think it's a strange thing to enjoy, but clearly some people do and as long as they don't expect me to get involved then I don't really care if they're getting their rocks off.

Although try and make a case that going out drinking in New York dressed as a terrorist isn't a weird thing to do. I dare you.

That’s fine. He’s allowed to not like or like Halloween just like everyone else. Stating that little kids dressing up or going trick or treating is weird or something they shouldn’t do makes you come off like a grumpy old man and anyone here is free to tell him such.
