Did she eat healthy beforehand or did she go gluten free and start being more health conscious at the same time?

My sister did the same thing. I chalked it up to a placebo (nocebo?) effect.

It's possible.

Celiac is (fairly) rare clinically , so I react the same way you do when I hear the average person obsess over gluten.

Migraines are tricky though. There are certain trigger foods and many involve sulfites and histamines.
