Ha. Yesterday I was at home all day bar a twenty minute trip to the nearby Canada Post outlet to collect a parcel that they had tried and failed to deliver on Tuesday. During that twenty minute window, they tried to deliver another parcel, and left me another "sorry we missed you" note. I swear the fuckers must have been waiting round the corner until I went out so they could continue their elaborate practical joke.

The Jr at the end of Martin Luther King Jr is unnecessary. The Jr at the end of JFK Jr is needed.

I walked out one day to find a delivery attempt that was allegedly made 3 minutes earlier.  I walked out to the street and saw the Fed Ex truck right down the street. Chased him down and said "I was sitting right by the door getting ready to leave.  How the hell did you get by me?"  He just mumbled and got my package and apologized.

Renting in NYC is awful. My credit is a, uh, work in progress, so it's a pain to get approved. They don't even care about your salary. The management companies are sticklers for credit.
