apperently the reason Kerr went to GS was the length of the deal.

Knicks offered 3 years, 4.4 mil per
GS offered 5 years, 4.4 mil per

Kerr wasn't willing to move out east for less than a firm commitment, because the Knicks have alot of questions/issues.

Shaw has been a Jackson guy forever, player and coaching. I'm not sure of a Shaw/Melo connection.


Shaw has said he has no interest in leaving Denver, and NYK would need to compensate the Nugs cause he's only a year into his deal.

Figured Shaw was coming from Denver thought Melo knew him from there.

Didn't realize Shaw was there after Melo left though
