I don't think any weight gain helps him because his game is being quick.  If he picks up a few pounds just getting stronger, so be it.  But gaining on purpose wouldn't help.

Good lord 2 guys both 175 pounds can have a wildly different body type. He can be 175 pounds and be able to stand up to the physical play. It depends on his body type. Let the guy get hit and then we can freak about about it. There's guys 350 pounds that can never stay healthy, it totally depends on the player.

When Amaro finally gets to play with FitzMagic in 2016 and emerges as a Gronk-like TE, the 2014 draft will look better.  Add him to Pryor (an emerging all pro), McDougle, Reilly and IK and it's not the disaster the media and the "Blame Idzik not Rex" sector of posters make it to be

And we will still have Richardson, Winters, Ivory (4 traded), Bohannon and hopefully even a healthy Milliner contributing in 2016.  A pretty damn good draft

He was NO Maccagnan by miles but not as bad as the myth created about him IMO
