So we drafted a healthier Landry ?

Johnny E should be happy

I would say healthier Bob Sanders is a better comparison

The fact that New Orleans moved up for Cooks two picks later says it all for me.  Got a good player?  Great.  We had a chance at a solid offensive weapon and an electric QB and passed them up for yet another defensive player.  At some point you have to accept you can't have 1st rounders everywhere on defense.

DROTY for a safety?  Not likely.

They moved up for him because their window is closing.

Cooks is not a #1.  They also have an established QB and a head coach that is a master of the short passing game.

Passing on Manziel bothers me more, because I hate Geno Smith.

But WR is deep.  We can get a #2 at 49.

Iggy what was the cost of moving up there?

Which will be great when we take an OLB in the 2nd.

Mayock and Davis were both saying that, and it would be too much to hope for that he becomes that.

In my opinion, Bob Sanders was a legitimate HOF candidate if he wasn't made of glass.

Injuries are a concern of mine with Pryor, not because he has a history, but because he consistently tries to kill people, sooner or later, he will knock himself out. That said, cannot wait to see him lay the wood in the first preseason game this year.

What concerns me about this pick is that you'd assume such a good defensive coach would actually try developing some starters on D from lower picks. Outside of Harrison, it doesn't happen.

What we do tomorrow is going to determine everything about this pick.

Iggy what was the cost of moving up there?

They traded their third rounder to move up seven spots

Sanders was held together with duct tape.

This.

Ryan supposedly takes pride in building a defense with outcasts, and then he freaking takes defense every year.
