Although unless his roster bonus date was approaching, it wouldnt make sense for us to cut him so early. Unless we are already set on his replacement (and have a verbal agreement with someone) and just wanted to let Cro out there so he could find a deal of his own or something.

I thought his roster bonus was due on 3/13, so just a couple days.

My guess (based on rumors) is that we go after Verner, if we get him, Cro is moving on, if not, we try and bring Cro back on the cheap.

No idea, but its quite likely he is just sad now, and if things break right, he might be back. But I find it hard to believe Idzik told him we are cutting you and you are our top priority once the market opens up.
