Prospect Fits for the Jets (Safety)
« on: February 17, 2024, 05:56:48 PM »
Javon Bullard - Georgia
Calen Bullock - USC
Beau Brade - Maryland
Evan Williams - Oregon
Cole Bishop - Utah
Tykee Smith - Georgia
Akeem Dent - Florida State
Jarrian Jones - Florida State

Realistically, we just can't take a safety until the third or fourth round.  Bullard and Bullock are likely gone in the second.

Jarrian Jones is more of a nickel/slot defender, but he has the skillset to play all over the secondary.  He'd be great insurance behind Michael Carter II.

As of right now, Brade and Bishop have to be a couple of our top targets at 72.

I’ve seen some good things said about Bishop. Athletic freak with great size, has actually experience as a deep safety…
Need a new one for a new board...
