On second thought, Brady behind our OL? He would die.

You son of a bitch, I’m in.

Just because Revis has popped his head up lately with Sherman

Is Revis a first ballot HOFer? The dudes obviously had two of the best seasons ever as a corner (likely the best ever) But he's also had a short career with several years where he had completely given up (plus his year on IR and year on Tampa)

Take a look at it by era. What CBs during the time that he played were demonstrably better than Revis?

Revis had an all-time great season to his credit. He played 11 seasons.

Revis is a HoFer and I'd make the argument he should be a first-ballot. You can make arguments that other guys had better overall careers, but Revis was the unquestioned best at his position for a while. That's the standard, as SFD alluded to--best of your era.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

Oh there's no doubt that he had the one or two best seasons ever as a corner

But he played at that level for 2 years?

Then played at a high level for another 2-3 years

Then the other 5 or 6 years??

Compared to someone like Patrick Peterson, Richard Sherman, Talib, Bailey, Woodson

Seems like these guys aged much more gracefully

Just an interesting tidbit as far as managing the cap. Because the CBA is expiring, there are no post June 1st cuts cap wise.

All cuts bear the full cap hit for this season.

So this could be a very unique offseason when it comes to cap management and trades.

I wish there was a reliable way to break attendance figures into home/away fans.  I'm certain we were outnumbered by the 3rd at the last two games I attended.

Interesting. Coaching ability debate aside, Gase seems like an poopchute and the Johnsons seem like the perfect family to employ him.
