As an aside I’m blown away the Philly announcing crew hasn’t mentioned Zach’s name since he walked off the field. It’s a starting QB being hurt in the preseason, how are you not reporting anything?

Remember, I had it first
As soon as I realized it was non-contact, I thought in the back of my head he was done. I thought he was diving at first, or slipped on a cut live.

Sam Darnold is going to come right back and take full advantage of his second chance with the Jets.

I cope with excrement like this with humor. And Darnold is one of the quarterbacks who would be available.

I know we're all in a very sensitive state of mind right now but there's no need to delusionpost

If it really is an ACL, you have to go get Jimmy.  He isn't great but he's a proven veteran that can at least hold the fort.  This scheme is built for a QB like him.  This team can't roll into the regular season with Mike White/Joe Flacco.

We can't hit reset again.

We don't have the cap space for either. But the Darnold Redemption Tour sounds fun if only because if he comes and plays well the Dougbros are going to be so confused.

That Quincy Williams hit on Jalen Hurts is like a bizarro Mo Lewis'Drew Bledsoe play

Jimmy G is a better quarterback than Sam and a better fit. Jimmy G is an upgrade at quarterback over what Wilson was likely to be this year.

Sam might make more sense because we're probably going to take another partial swing at quarterback before next offseason as Zach insurance. A 25-year old former top-5 pick is the type of swing you want to make. Zach is still the guy going into next year, but you can't put all your eggs in that basket next year. Either you get a mid-round QB and hope you get lucky, or get a veteran who can potentially start if Wilson goes down or struggles.  It's kind of like the Becton situation entering this year.

I'm not sure what other quarterbacks would make sense. Flacco and White are better than most of the other potential options most likely.

If we can't get Jimmy G, Flacco is probably our best option for this year. Time to Tank for Will Anderson (or rev up the should we draft a QB debate for the 137594th time)

You have to make the call on Jimmy but it’s likely to be way to much for what we can afford
