Cleveland Browns hire Mike Pettine as HC

Cleveland Browns Thursday named Mike Pettine as the 15th full-time head coach in franchise history, team announced.

I'll be rooting for him to do well there. Anyone who pulls a few wins from the Steelers/Ravens will be a team I cheer for, and they should have a lot of young talent after the draft. Hopefully will be a fun team to watch next year.

Good for Pettine. I'll be rooting for the Browns...mainly because it's hard to root against a team that's sucked so badly for so long.

I've always rooted for the Browns because I felt bad for their fans and the city post Art Modell , but I hate this current administration.

The owner is a shady criminal, the GM is a complete bafoon, and Joe Banner definitely has at least thought about raping a child.

Also, freak Pettine and his butt buddy Manish.

Bills defense significantly improved when Pettine was their DC.

If he goes to the Browns and he is the reason they significantly improve on defense, then I would hope it was his defense as DC that made the bills good. So that the bills losing him makes their defense would worse without him

Sounds like Pettine is taking the Bills LBs coach with him to run his defense for the Browns

So Kiko is going to lose his DC and LB coach.

I feel like analysts are being too unfair to Pettine. As if they all know for sure who's going to be a great HC and who's going to suck. It's definitely a crapshoot.
