Apparently, Miami is getting one of these in the spring, they're making a comeback. Is it any good?

"Hello good sir GM, may we pretty please have your throwaway centers and gords please??!? I'll suck yo'dick!"
Friday before the tailgate bitches, all you can eat shrimp and salad bar.
you had me at "all you can eat"
I just booked it, the one problem is it's in Forest Hills.
your planning skills are subpar.
If it's in Forest Hills everyone can crash at my place. Walking distance.
3.0 star rating8/3/2013Sizzler is a place, filled with people and food. It's not fancy. It's not cool. Yes, it's dark and dingy, the service is so-so and the steaks are an absolute nightmare. But that is only scratching the surface. When you dig a little deeper, past the inedible bovine, frightening ambrosia salad and truly terrible bread pudding, there is so much to love at this Sizzler. Maybe it's a memory of childhood that I can't let go of, going to Sizzler with my grandpa and thinking it was such an occasion. Or maybe it is just the simple fact of paying a single flat rate to eat as much as I want at a salad bar.So let's get to that. This salad bar is an ode to true Americana. I haven't investigated the health standards of it and I don't want to. I just want to enjoy those incredibly hot little corn fritters they have, next to the sausage and peppers and the ever so crispy and tender (undoubtedly horrible-for-you) fried chicken wings. I just want to build myself a taco out of mystery meat, fake cheese, shredded iceberg and diced tomatoes and call it a night. Or maybe go on to piling up a spinach salad with broccoli, carrots, kidney beans, cucumbers and...! It's beautiful! I don't care! You can't stop me!Also, fried shrimp. Oh, and Texas Toast. I will never not love you, Texas Toast.
1.0 star rating11/25/2013My boyfriend and his brother were super excited to go to Sizzler's as soon as they found out that it still existed and so that's what we did last night on a double date... yeah, we'll be returning on the 12th of Never. As soon as we finished dinner all I could say was, "that was atrocious." I had the salmon, my boyfriend had steak & chicken, his brother had a bacon cheeseburger, my friend had grilled chicken. Anyways, none of us was remotely satisfied. Dessert...what kind of ice cream was that?! Frozen water with flavoring? Terrible I tell you, terrible.Messy, horrible, wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There's a reason why the chain fell apart! Don't do it to yourself.

It's a grease pit in Queens where you can go and spend low double digits for steak and shrimp. Are you going to have the best meal of your life? No, probably not. Is the salad bar going to be healthy and organic? Uh uh. Somehow pretty much every surface feels like it has oil on it.But the parking lot is tight- because it is PACKED. You will see diverse families of all ages here for a modest meal. The salad bar is a meal in itself and I MAY have eaten five of those delicious, piping hot fried chicken wings. We were beckoned by a nostalgic family member with baller status who rented out the party room. And you know what? We survived, and no one got sick, which is more than I can say for some other places.

4.0 star rating4/18/2013 1 photoI have been here SEVERAL times to eat the salad bar .... which FYI it has way more than salad.... I believe price range for the salad bar is $6-12 ... Can't remember exactly. They have fruits such as melons, oranges, pineapples, oranges. All types off salads and vegetables, soups, deserts such as ice cream cakes cookies jello and whip creams. Also small finger foods like chicken fingers, sausages, spaghetti with meat balls, Yummy stuff all you can eat. They also have plates you can order..... the first time I ordered a plate of food I was soooo disgusted..... we actually all were and no one finished their plate. I was sooo disappointed I should of just got the salad bar. I ordered ribs and fries. The ribs were more bones then meat and it was like a soup they put so much BBQ sauce that was COLD!!!!! It also did not seemed cooked well. It was sooo gross. My cousin ordered steak and it also was not cooked well when she said well done!!!Breakfast salad bar is the best as well !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pancakes, french toast, home fries eggs, ketchup. mm mmmmm !!
