Obviously we can't go into 2021 with our current corners, but LB is a huge concern for me too.

Jamin Davis would be a building block player in this scheme.  We need LBs that can run and cover.   

I can't remember who the last one we had that could do this was. Davis on his second stint?

-Lee was still "improving" when we dumped him.
-I don't remember coverage being a strong suit for Williamson.
-Nothing Mosely has done up until this point counts.
-Bart Scott: nope

Everyone acting like 1-2 of our first 3 picks need to be defense are fools....if (when) we take a QB at 2, let's for once surround him with some talent right from jump street and use our next 2 picks on offense too plz. 

Are we going to suck at corner next year? Yeah, but excuse me if I'm not quite concerned about covering the Chiefs weapons in the AFCCG just yet and would rather not freak up another talented QB...

There was a huge run on tackles and someone actually moved ahead of me for Creed Humphrey, which was surprising. 

I took AVT based on how the board fell.  Caleb Farley was still available and I considered Jayson Oweh for the potential alone, but we've gotta try to protect the QB and run the football better.

AVT will help in the run game quite a bit.  Zone scheme will allow for some soft-ish play.

I always chuckle when I see statements like this when someone posts a mock (and I do it too for sure). Like we wouldn't be tap dancing in May if that was our draft just because we disliked one selection, or would have preferred player A over Player B of the same position at spot C.

We'd be all kinds of excited about the value we got later in the draft.

While CB is a huge need... why complain about surrounding Wilson with talent on the OL? Understandable if you would prefer a different pick on the OL, but not freaking up Wilson is a much higher priority than fielding capable corners.

I don't care if the opposing team throws for 400 yards every game if our young QB can stand in a clean pocket the majority of the time.
