I think that turning his first three picks into 2 offensive players, 1 defensive player and 1 pick traded down for more picks would cement his status as draft Jesus.
I mean it shouldn’t be all that hard. Someone is going to want one of those 3 picks in a trade scenario, hell someone will probably want all 3. It’s just determining the value we can receive.
At 2, does someone want a QB? Does someone want to leapfrog the Dolphins for Sewell? Teams like Atlanta, Cincy, Detroit and Carolina all make sense from a trade perspective for having an arguement to move up.
At 23 seems like a sweet spot for a tier 2 QB. Who wants to jump up ahead of the steelers to grab Trey Lance or Mac Jones?
At 34, there will be plenty of round 1 talent still on the board, who wants to come get it?
You gotta believe at least one of those scenarios is going to be available to Joe Douglas.
Then it’s just a matter of grabbing the right quantity of offensive and defensive players
