Justin Turner and his wife weren't allowed to take the plane home with the rest of the organization. Wonder how hard MLB will come down on him.
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well

That makes sense. There are a lot of options to fly home, one chance in a lifetime to celebrate winning a World Series with your team on the field. Even if you want give us 2017 in retrospect, they never got to celebrate the win. They had to walk off and live with a loss.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

“Not high...during the games” you say

Haha, people have always said that about Belinger. Tell you what, if he is, I want what he's smoking the next time I get on a basketball court, if that ever happens.

This is wild

That is crazy.

The way Snell was throwing, I don't know, I've seen it go that way a million times. And he's a former Cy Young winner, so it's not like he hasn't had sustained success before. I understand about the third time through the lineup, but it would take more than a one-out single for me to take him out on 73 pitches. They asked Betts what he thought as he was about to hit, he said "I felt like I have a chance now". He struck out his first two times up, guys were starting to try and bunt. Man, I don't know.

This is insane

We are gonna witness a weird offseason

“ Not one team claimed Brad Hand for $10M. He was a top 3 finalist for AL reliever of the year with a 0.77 WHIP. and 16 saves. Time to revise free agent contract projections downward! (Hand is now a free agent after Indians then declined the $10M option and paid $1M buyout.)”

Welp

Cleveland, strapped for money, intend to trade All-Star shortstop Francisco Lindor by opening day, several rival teams have been informed. Lindor earned $17.5 million last season and is projected to earn about $21 million in salary arbitration in his final year before free agency

What a pathetic team.

Rockies owner Dick Monfort sent a letter to season ticket holders today that said, in part: "There will be nothing normal about this offseason as the industry faces a new economic reality."

Rockies have been the other team along with the Indians that have been rumored they could undergo big payroll cuts.

Nolan Arenado and Trevor Story are the 2 big names I’ve seen mentioned.

In fairness to Cleveland, they're paying good money to get eliminated in the first couple of rounds of the playoffs every year.

Amazing Ryu and Maeta were both Cy Young finalists, the Dodgers let them both go and still won the World Series.
