Adam Schefter

@AdamSchefter

ESPN’s Ryan Clark said Jets’ S Jamal Adams would like to go home to Texas and play for the Cowboys.

A move this big happening on such short notice seems unlikely. However he's locked in pretty well contract wise so no extension needs to be worked out or anything.

But I think Dallas would have to miss the playoffs in one or both years in order for us to get solid value from those picks. And considering the Redskins and Giants don't even have football teams and the eagles are imploding, I think that's pretty unlikely. Which means Dallas is probably picking in the 21-28 range both years, with a more than decent  chance of those picks being 26-28. Just something to consider

I love Jamal Adams. But going to the ownership and asking to be traded is pathetic.

President my derriere.

I hope it isn't true.

You know what happens to presidents in Dallas.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

Rappaport tweeting a deal involving Jamal and the Cowboys isn't imminent.

I'm going to the gym and turning my phone off, when I get back I fully expect the Jets to have done something horrifically stupid. Maybe a couple things.

In all the hoopla, the Jets forgot to trade Robby Anderson.

If we trade Bell or Adams I'm probably done with this season.
My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

...how do we know this has ANYTHING to do with his relationship with Gase?

Jesus Christ guys, I get they're 1-6...maybe its about losing 15 of his last 17.

If that's the case, you either get overpaid or you tell him tough excrement.

I truly don't understand how it's easier for you to come to the conclusion that maybe it isn't about Gase than for me to say maybe the guy is an insufferable queynte.

Players literally publicly celebrated his Miami firing. That told me an awful lot. And that was before seeing that story yesterday that he had the balls to yell at his boss that he knew more about football. Then there are his weekly press conferences where he doesn't know why his gameplan didn't work then proceeds to shift blame onto all of his players.

It takes a lot more work to find ways to defend Gase than it does to just accept he's a cancer.

Please football gods, let this be the end of the story.

And now Connor Hughes tweeting two teams are in on Adams and a source believes he's getting moved. Directly conflicts w/Rappaport, and its unfortunate considering I find Hughes WAY more plugged in with this team.

If the difference in offers is a mid-round pick, send him anywhere but Dallas. Message has to be sent that people can't dictate terms with two years remaining before free agency.

Well, Adams is miserable here and wants to go to Dallas.  Why keep him here and have him pout.  Let him go, get a big haul.

With Dallas having just traded for Bennett, and the Jets just trading away Williams. Is there someone that could be thrown into a potential deal for Adams? Ie a 1st a player and another 2nd or 1st?

I'd expect two first rounders since that was the comp for Ramsey JAX received. I can argue Adams is same caliber player. This means we'll get a 2nd round pick
