I was surprised to see that he's never coached outside of the Oilers/Titans organization.

I never realized that either. But he is a hall of famer that did ok as an NFL coach. He definitely has the cache to go into a kids house and recruit him to any school even in East Bumblefuck, Ohio.

I like the guy, and he'll a job pretty quickly.  Especially when some coordinators leave for HC jobs. 

I'd really like to see him at the college level, but all of those jobs are going to fill up quickly.  It'd be interesting to see him go to Vanderbilt, but it's so difficult to build a winner there.

Because he filed a complaint against my school's athletic secretary for being racist after she refused to give him information on one of our players. 

It just so happens the woman he accused of being a racist is also black and one of the nicest people I've ever been around.  When he found that out, we didn't hear from him again.

The kid didn't want to visit Vanderbilt because he already narrowed his choices down to three schools.  According to James Franklin, it was because he's a minority coach.  It's all about him.

He's an idiot if he actually has an offer from Penn State and doesn't take it to remain at Vanderbilt.
