Is he the guy who killed the Bears' season?

Yup.

He was a 90% kicker under Gase the year before.

Kickers are like relief pitchers. Outside of the elites, most guys change year by year.

He missed a big kick one time, so people will use that against him.

People seems to forget that Nick Folk and Jason Myers both stunk before coming to the Jets.  A change of scenery is sometimes all a kicker needs.

All of these players can kick.  Mindset is the biggest thing for them.

Exactly. The Jets have done this for years at kicker and it has never burned us. Paying Myers that much money would have been foolish. But they should have had competition for Catanzaro.

I think we will get Vedvik.

I think the concerns at kicker have been vastly overstated. We can find someone.

I'd prefer Fry over Vedvik, but we'll see

Really nice that the Vikings took the trade so we didn’t have to give up picks and we still end up with the guy.

Here’s hoping he can get back on track with Boyer coaching him up.

We've had more kickers this summer than New England has had in Belichick's 20 years.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

Proof America hates the #Jets: Kaare Vedvik can’t kick at MetLife tomorrow to prepare for #NYJ opener because the U.S. men’s national soccer team is playing a match against Mexico

I’m sorry so kickers normally go to the stadium the night before a game to kick?

He's never been there and we host a division game in two days. It's called preparation.

Okay, so he can't practice Saturday?

If this were December and the infamous winds were swirling, I'd give the story a little more credibility, but this is a case of "You had one job" and the dude should be able to kick even without getting in there today.

Of course, this could've been a plant story to cover the team in case he shits the bed on Sunday. "He didn't have time to properly prepare!"
Teams that draft well do so no matter where they pick. Teams that draft poorly do so no matter where they pick I want my team to win games and draft well
