Great strategy by MB to reach on Darnold as a rookie so he gets franchise rights, hold on to him all season through the injury, then let him walk after the year.

Also....Darnold is on the trade block if anyone is interested in keeping him as a 10th round franchise.  Serious offers only.

I've never really understood the rules around trading keepers, so I just stopped caring about that. Otherwise, I have Marlon Mack at a steal, too, but I can't keep him.

Basically, you can only franchise a player that was on your roster the year before so you can tag and trade but you cannot trade for and then tag.

If this needs to be revisited, we can do that. Obviously, there hasn't been a need in a while.
