Fun fact: @ESPNStatsInfo Bill O'Brien is the 3rd head coach in Texans history; all 3 have started their Houston tenure with the No. 1 overall pick in the draft.

It makes sense to see him working as an offensive consultant.  Most of what he was doing for San Francisco was looking at how to attack coverages.  Maybe he'll get an expanded role in Houston as a passing game coordinator or something. 

Bill O'Brien will probably call his own plays.  Can't imagine Mangini having a big playbook...
