I'd hate it less than Favre but we're further away from competent now than we were with that trade so it makes even less sense.
A lot changed between the end of the Jets 2007 season and the Favre trade 8 months later. We were a disastrous team with only a handful of players worth a damn.

Did Love even see the field this season? I can't believe they're ready to move on just yet.

Continuing the Favre trade comparison:

Of course for a similar scenario to play out it would mean we don't get Watson or Stafford, and we don't take a QB at 2 - if that's the case it must mean they believe in Darnold, which makes it less likely they would pursue Rodgers if he were put on the block after the draft.

I guess if somehow they didn't love Darnold but still had him rated ahead of this year's prospects, then maybe? It's a pretty narrow window of possibility.

Tired: Jets should trade for Deshaun Watson
Wired: Get Aaron Rodgers

Rodgers is better but I'd rather have Watson because he's 12 years younger.

Rams would have to eat a bunch of money to trade Goff and they are already $30 million over the cap.

I don’t see the Rams being able to pull it off. The 9ers would be a perfect landing spot for him.

Odds of green bay not completely regretting giving a RB a contract like that, compounded by the things going on with the cap

I thought the whole point of drafting AJ Dillon so high was to not have to pay Jones that kind of money
Need a new one for a new board...
