Until late 2018, Breshad Perriman was basically Stephen Hill 2.0.

*Johnny Lam Jones 0.5

Haha. We took him very high, I think top 5 overall, in 1980. So he was definitely a disappointment in that regard, but he hung around a few years and started opposite Wesley Walker until we drafted Al Toon in 1985.
So it turns out, Italian Seafood was right an everyone can go freak themselves.

Perriman has been more like Darrius Heyward-Bey than Stephen Hill

I'll never forget his game ending 4th down drop inside the redzone against New England. It's amazing how shitty Tannenbaum's picks were once Mangini was run out of town.

I just don’t understand how he could have such a great debut against the Bills in his career opener, and then basically barely replicated the rest of those numbers for the rest of his career. It was bananas
Need a new one for a new board...

My dad always says he's undefeated at tailgating

Maybe it's not I who doesn't know what he's talking about

That's fascinating.

I don't think there's much of a difference between Perriman and Anderson. I actually think Perriman has more upside. I preferred Robby, just because he has been here for a few years, and without much of an offseason, I was hoping we would have a lot of continuity around Sam. Instead, we have a ton of moving parts.

However, this helps hammer home the idea that getting rid of Robby wasn't a bad idea. Getting open deep is literally what Robby is supposed to be good at, and according to this, he's one of the worst in the league.

Anderson had a lot of fun, splash plays but he also disappeared a lot.

Corners would body him all over the field and he couldn't show up.  Elite straight line speed and defenses had to honor that, but he wasn't a huge loss.
