No. Because I don't think Douglas did anything wrong. I don't blame him for taking calls. I'd take them too.

I just don't blame Adams for being upset about the way things went down. Does anyone here really believe his agent didn't overplay the situation to Jamal? I'm sure he made it sound like Douglas was actively shopping him, whether true or not. Makes it a lot easier when it comes contract time to say "Hey Jamal, we need to fight for that extra million. Remember the time they disrespected you?"

I still can't believe people are getting on Adams' case.

This guy flat out went to Gase and Douglas and told them he wants to be a Jet. How many guys do you think have done that in this team's history? He plays harder than anyone on the field every week. He hates losing just as much as any of us--likely more.

Then again, this is the same board that was strongly against signing that lazy malcontent locker-room-cancer Le'Veon Bell too.

They didn't actively shop him. They have a clearly high valuation of him. Him talking to Ryan Clark and all but confirming what he said about the Cowboys pretty clearly shows that Jamal isn't exactly Mr. Goody Two Shoes here.

Were you there present when Adams spoke to the Gase and/or Douglas? Because there have been a lot of conflicting reports, plus the stuff Ryan Clark reported, which Adams more or less confirmed, doesn't paint him in a positive picture, quite the opposite.

Just trade him to Cincinnati or an NFC bottom feeder come March.
