Devs is very good but you guys like that Mr Robot weird excrement. I am not into it as much as you guys.


I can't remember the FX show AMC show it's like. It was about 10 years ago and was similar and only lasted a year.


Edit: Rubicon, I found to be similar.

Devs is either going to be spectacularly brilliant or thoroughly disappointing.  Appropriately binary.  Man they know how to build suspense, though.

I don't think it's better than Mr. Robot yet.

My biggest and only issue with Devs is Sonoya Mizuno's acting. 

Nick Offerman is awesome, as always.

Alison Pill is terrific. I don't think Lily is played badly at all - she's not supposed to be an emotional little girl, she's an analyst.

Specifically, the actor who played the wealthy mom was not great. I'm not saying that Mizuno should be up for an Emmy, but she doesn't detract from the show and the scene in the house with Pill was brilliant.

Pill was great, not Mizuno.

The scene from last week's episode between Sergei and Lily was awful too.

Still very interested in the series and it has been fantastic so far, but it is far from perfect.
