Week 13: MVP of the Game

What everyone else said. This team desperately needs to stop digging themselves into such huge holes early on in games though. Feel like it's every week they freak themselves with stupid penalties or huge plays

I agree, but one thing that isn't getting mentioned much is how good our halftime adjustments have been on both offense and defense.

Edit: if our games ended at the halftime score, we'd be 5-7 right now.

Absolutely but it'd be nice to get off to better starts. If we fall behind to the better teams in this league it's hard to catch up from 2+ scores

If you choose the former, then Marshall is or MVP of the season so far.

Meh I was saying the exact opposite on Facebook .

Marshall is by far the better player thsn Fitz . But after seeing geno in relief this year , I'm convinced even with marshall geno would cost us games.

4 weeks ago I'd say marshall hands down. But Fitz is playing the best football of his mediocre career. Which makes him at the very least , undeniably above average .

QB comes first.  I would rather have Fitz/Decker than Smith/Marshall.  Marshall is the best player of the bunch, but Geno would render him useless.

That was my point. Having a great WR doesn't mean much when your QB is constantly turning the ball over. Fitz has been the season's MVP thus far.

Looking at Geno's numbers from last year (without Marshall or a healthy Kerley)

I dont think it would be unreasonable to assume he could have a positive td:int ratio this year with Marshall, and Marshall still would have eclipsed 1000 receiving yards on the year (Decker almost did it last year)

I also dont think the difference between Geno + Marshall/Decker would be huge from Fitz + Decker/Smith. No question Fitz would have a much better turnover ratio, but I think Geno would ratchet up more yards with Marshall out on the field.  Marshall is the best player on this team this season
