RPG fans, do yourselves a favor, go play Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Need a new one for a new board...

Problem is Sony/SE basically gives you all the FF games for free if you wait long enough

It's so hard to pay money for them

If you want to wait, that’s fine. But this game is a masterpiece. It’s the best open world I’ve ever played. Sure it’s not perfect, but it’s damned impressive, especially if you have a connection to FF7

I dunno 16, integrade, and ff7 remake part 1 were all just okay.

But I'm also a cranky old person wanna be who wants his RPGs turn based.

You are right though, game got some very good reviews and it'll be exciting to play through. Unfortunately for SE their games just don't hold value (albeit dawntrail is probably going to regularly crash Sonys networks in July)

Helldivers 2 is the most co op fun I've had with a co op shooter since Destiny first launched.

Gameplay mechanics and survival require communication and skill especially because of friendly fire.

AI is adaptive and increasingly more difficult to a point you're just trauma bonding once you play difficulty 8-10

Also the starship troopers fascism parody is just plain hilarious

And I don't typically play shooters but if you're in a decent squad or with a couple friends it's just plain fun.

You can do plenty without making a single mictroteansacrion purchase

Very happy with the game.

I'm a JRPG and RPG nerd

RIP Yoshitaka Murayama. Creator of the Suikoden series . Passed this yr while finishing his new game.

The spiritual successor to Suikoden and one of the most successful gaming Kickstart campaigns Eiyuden Chronicles releases this month

I'm excited for this

Better get your credit card ready, it's a Ubisoft game

Just wait a couple months until it's on clearance.

It's Ubisoft, I'm referring to the microtransactions

Then and EA are the scummiest of the scummiest

You buy a game and the expectation is you're to spend more than the cost of the game, by playing the actual game

I've only played a handful of Ubisoft games to my recollection, but I've never paid a penny over the purchase price of the game. I don't play games online so I've never felt the need to buy the Casablanca Go-Go Girl Warrior outfit or the sequin encrusted AK-47. I put the disc in the machine, I let it load up, I play through the single player story over a period of days, weeks and sometimes months, then when it's over it either goes into the "might play again sometime" pile or the "take it in for store credit next time I want a new game" pile.

My brain automatically corrected it when I read it. I didn't notice anything was wrong until your post.
