But isn't he more comfortable playing in the slot? If he moves from there, who can play the slot then?

My assumption when Williams went outside was they wanted to keep him in the slot.

I think this is the case.

We have depth at cornerback at least, so we aren't up excrement's creek as we would be in other years.

Yeah... like last year.

Amazing what professional management can do in just one offseason.

The difference today was turnovers, and I don't think we will get that lucky next week in that department.  Gotta clean up the third down defense.

Also I'd imagine Indy will come out focused on attacking with the TEs similar to Cleveland today, except with actual guys who are solid in Fleener and Allen. We certainly appeared to still be vulnerable there early on. Once McCown came out, they didn't look at the TEs much after that. Perhaps we adjusted to it, or perhaps Manziel never really looked there way

Obviously we're going to knock him out of the game with a Luckopter and play against whoever his backup is.

Marcus Williams looked pretty good today.

He did, and I'm really pleased for the guy because I liked him a lot last year as well, but Johnny Manziel and Brian Hartline are a different proposition to some of the other teams we'll see this season.

Manziel isn't that bad.  He's inexperience and unorthodox, but that throw he made to Benjamin was excellent.

A couple of nice scrambles were called back by flags too (thankfully).
